What does the Statistics section track?

Every Campaign and Notification has statistics. It is an easy way to monitor your campaign and notification results.

The statistics show how many impressions, mouse hovers, clicks, and form submission a notification(s) has and the campaign’s overall results.

Clicks are tracked once per browser, per day, and only for notifications with an external URL set.

What is a notification impression, and what does the impression limit show? 

The notification impressions show how many times notifications will show up on your store (in total per month).

It is counting the sessions per browser and IP.

Once you reach the impressions limit included in your package, the notifications will stop showing on your store.

May I return to a Monthly subscription plan if I am already on a Lifetime plan?

Sorry, you won’t be able to do so. Once you subscribe to a Lifetime plan, you can not return to a Monthly one. You can only upgrade your Lifetime package.

May I return to the Free plan once I subscribe to a Paid one?

Sorry, you won’t be able to do so. Once you subscribe to a paid plan, you won’t be able to return to the free one. 

How can I upgrade my monthly subscription to a lifetime plan?

You can easily do so by going to the Plans listing page. 

1. On your Dashboard page, click on the “Change plan” button on the upper right corner and navigate to the “Lifetime” section. 

2. Choose a plan of your needs and click on the “Choose plan” button.

3. Once redirected to approve the one-time charge, click “Approve”.

4. You will then be redirected to approve a “free plan” for $0.01. This is done to cancel your recurring monthly charge.

Do I have to add my store's domain manually when creating a new Campaign?

No. Proofster is integrated with Shopify and it will add your store's domain automatically in the Domain section. 

What is "Custom Branding" and how can I use it?

The “Custom Branding” functionality allows you to insert your store’s watermark at the bottom of your Notifications. You can find it in the Campaign's More options menu. 

How many notifications does Proofster offer and how can I find the one I want to create? 

Poroofster offers 24 notifications separated into two big groups - BARS and POP-UPs. 

You can find Informational Bar, Collector Bar, Coupon Bar, and Button Bar in the BARS group.

In the POP-UPs group, you can find: Image, Modal Collector, Modal Two Collector, Call to Action, Text Feedback, Engagement Links, Informational pop-up, Coupon Pop-up, Live Counter, Email Collector, Latest Conversion, Conversions Counter, Video, Social Share, Random Review, Emoji Feedback, Cookie Notification, Score Feedback, Request Collector and Countdown Collector. 

You can quickly check all of the notifications by clicking on the “Create notification” button on your Campaign page.

BARS: 

What is an Informational Bar and how can I use it? 

The Informational Bar is a notification you can use to inform your clients about upcoming campaigns - e.g., Christmas discounts, new products on its way, etc. You can choose from Basic settings to give a name and description of your notification, through Triggers and Display settings where you can manage the position of the notification, the delay, and display duration. 

You can easily customize your notification from the Customize section to have a custom notification for your store! 

What is a Coupon Bar and how can I use it?  

The Coupon Bar is a notification that creates a FOMO (Fear Of Missing Out) effect in your clients and allows them to shop with a custom discount at the same time. 

When you create the notification in a chosen Campaign you'll find Basic Settings where you can add an appropriate and engaging title and description for your Coupon Bar. You can insert an image and URL for your notification to attract the users with the Notification vision. 

You'll find the Triggers settings where you can manage the position of the notification, its delay duration, and many more options. Don't forget the Display and Customize sections that will help you customize your notification for the best performance, which you can monitor through the Statistics section. 

What is a Collector Bar and how can I use it?

The Collector bar is a perfect way to collect your clients' emails and use it to send them updates, latest news, and information about your current or future events. 

Once submitted via the notification, Profoster will automatically create a customer in your Shopify Admin settings.

You can integrate the data you get from the customer with your Email Service Provider and send an email sequence. 

Pay attention that in the Basic Settings of the notification, there is a Show Agreement option that is disabled by default. If you choose to enable the Agreement option from the toggle button, you'll have the opportunity to insert the URL to your Privacy Policy. By allowing the show to Agreement option, you give the client the right to choose his behavior and be informed of its consequences. 

The Collector Bar contains the Basic, Trigger, Display, and Customize sections to build your notification to fit your store the best. 

The Statistics section will show you the performance of the Notification. 

What is a Button Bar and how can I use it?  

The Button Bar will help you to create curiosity and FOMO effect for your clients. By creating the notification, you can directly navigate the clients to the page you want your clients to visit. It can be the product page of a new product or a product with a discount, etc. 

When creating the Notification, you'll find Basic Settings, where you can easily add an appropriate title and description and a Notification URL. 

POP-UPs: 

What is an Image Pop-Up and how can I use it? 

The Image Pop-Up is a great way to catch your clients’ attention by presenting a unique visual experience for them by posting a link to your newest product or a page you want them to visit on your store. 

The Image Pop-Up contains Basic Settings, where you can insert a title and an image URL for your notification.

The image’s link simply has to be an absolute URL that directly accesses an image type link (jpg, jpeg, png, SVG, as long as it is an image). 

A Button text placeholder can be left empty if you want to remove the button completely. 

The notification contains Triggers, where you can compose the appearance of the Image pop-up, Display Settings, and Customize ones to adapt the notification with your brand. 

The statistics will monitor the notification’s performance to have a better understanding of your progress. 

What is a Modal Collector and how can I use it? 

The Modal Collector is a way to invite your clients to sign up for your latest news and the information you think will be useful for your target audience. 

Pay attention that there is a Show Agreement option in the Basic Settings of the notification that is disabled by default. If you choose to enable the Agreement option from the toggle button, you'll have the opportunity to insert the URL to your Privacy Policy. By allowing the show to Agreement option, you give the client the right to choose his behavior and be informed of its consequences. 

Proofster’s team highly recommends enabling the Show Agreement option and being compliant with the GDPR. 

As with every Poofster Notification, the Modal Collector offers Basic Settings where you can input the information you want to be visible as Title, Description of the Notification, your Privacy Policy Agreement URL, etc. 

You’ll find the valid email placeholder which is the place where your clients will insert their emails if they want to sign up for your updates. 

Once submitted via the notification, Profoster will automatically create a customer in your Shopify Admin settings.

What is a Call to Action Notification and how can I use it? 

The Call to Action (CTA) Pop-Up is one of the most usable notifications as it creates emergency and curiosity feelings in your clients about the new product or service you’ve released. The CTA Pop-Up will navigate your customers directly to the page or button you want them to use. 

The CTA Pop-Up will increase your AOV (Average Order Value) and will increase your store’s traffic. 

The Notification contains Basic Settings, where you can add an attractive title for your notification, image URL to catch your clients' attention, catchy description, and of course your Button texts and descriptions. 

The Triggers, Display Settings and Customize options will help you to place your notification wherever you want it to be shown, and you can design it by your taste. 

What is the Text Feedback Pop-Up and how can I use it? 

The text feedback is your way to involve your clients directly in improving your store by asking for their honest opinion or recommendations through text placeholders on the Text Feedback notification. 

The Triggers, Display Settings and Customize options will help you to place your notification wherever you want it to be shown, and you can design it by your taste. 

Pay attention that when first appearing on your store’s page, the Notification will show just the call to action part - e.g., “Any questions?”

Once the client clicks on it, the text placeholder appears to collect his opinion or recommendation. 

What is the Engagement Links Notification and how can I use it? 

The Engagement Links Pop-Up is a great way to navigate your clients to follow you on your social media channels. You share your pages/profiles by creating Engagement Categories and adding all the data necessary for them to find you online. 

You’ll find the Category Create button in the Basic Settings of the Notification that will help you to easily create as many categories of social media or contact fields as you want. 

Pay attention that when first appearing on your store’s page the Notification will show just its Title. 

Once the client clicks on it, the social media engagement links appear. 

What is the Informational Pop-Up and how can I use it? 

The informational Pop-Up is a fast and easy way to inform your clients about a new product or event that is on its way. It’s similar to the Informational Bar notification, and it creates curiosity and FOMO effect in your clients. 

You can also choose from Basic settings to give a name and description of your Notification through Triggers and Display settings. 

You can manage the place of your Notification, the delay, and display duration. 

You can easily customize your notification from the Customize section so you'll have a custom notification as for your store! 

What is a Coupon Pop-Up and how can I use it? 

The Coupon Pop-Up works the same as the coupon bar, with the addition that you can integrate images, attractive titles, and descriptions. 

What is a Live Counter and how can I use it? 

The Live Counter Notification counts all the visits on your store based on IP.

From the Basic setting of the pop-up, you can choose the timeframe that the notification will count, e.g. the last 15 mins from the notification creation. 

Pay attention that you can’t set the notification to show more visitors than their actual number. It will count the exact number of visitors from its creation! 

You can also choose from Basic settings to give a name and description of your notification, through Triggers and Display settings where you can manage the place of your notification, the delay, and display duration. 

You can easily customize your notification from the Customize section, so you'll have a custom notification as for your store! 

You have a Pulse Background Color as specific customization you can use to create a notification by your taste. 

What is an Email Collector Pop-Up and how can I use it? 

The Email Collector is similar to the Collector Bar and the two Modal Collectors in the BARS group. This notification is created, especially for collecting your clients' emails. The purpose of this is to create a solid group of followers to receive your weekly newsletter and hot news. 

Pay attention that there is a Show Agreement option in the Basic Settings of the notification that is disabled by default. If you choose to enable the Agreement option from the toggle button, you'll have the opportunity to insert the URL to your Privacy Policy. By allowing the show to Agreement option, you give the client the right to choose his behavior and be informed of its consequences. 

What is the Latest Conversion Pop-Up and how can I use it? 

The Lates Conversion Notification is a great way to create engagement and FOMO effect in your clients by letting them know when someone buys a product. 

In the Basic Settings of the notification, you’ll find a detailed explanation of the dynamic variables you can insert in your descriptions. 

You can choose the number of conversions that your notification will show. 

What is a Conversions Counter and how can I use it? 

The Conversions Counter counts the number of conversions from a pre-defined time since the creating of the Notification.

Pay attention that you can’t set the notification to show more conversions than their actual number. It will count the exact number of conversions from its creation!

What is a Video Pop-Up and how can I use it? 

The Video Pop-Up is a great way to present a new product demo, create a stronger engagement with your clients, and turn them into loyal buyers. 

The specification of the Notification is in the URL that you have to insert in the YouTube Video Embed URL. 

How to find the embed link of your video: 

1. Once you open the video on YouTube go and click on the “Share” button. 

2. You’ll see different options to share the video in the social media channels and in the left part of the screen you’ll see an “embed” button. 

3. When you open the embed page an HTML page with the video’s code will appear. At the beginning of the code, you’ll see the embed link separated with commas from the rest of the code. 

4. Copy the link and insert it in the YouTube Video Embed URL placeholder. 

5. Оnce updated, the video will appear in the preview section.

What is a Social Share Pop-Up and how can I use it? 

The Social Share Notification is a fast and easy way to boost your social presence and earn a free advertisement of your content, product lines, and mission by prompting your clients to share your store or custom page. 

Тhe notification gives you the top 3 social media used by the people that you can enable for your business. 

What is a Random review Pop-Up and how can I use it? 

By the Random Review Pop-up, you can share the positive feedback of your clients which will lead to more orders and will build higher trust with your future customers. 

You can use the Basic Settings to set up how many reviews you do want to appear when the notification is active. 

The Random Review Notification needs for you to add actual reviews so that they could be shown. You can do that from the “Import data” tab in the Data section.

What is Emoji Feedback and how can I use it? 

The emoji feedback is an attractive and easy way to get your clients' opinion of your store and performance in general by using emojis. 

The Notification gives you a few suggestions you can easily enable or disable. 

The Triggers, Display Settings and Customize options will help you to place your notification wherever you want it to be shown and you can design it by your taste. 

What is a Cookie Notification and how can I use it? 

The Cookie Notification is as its name suggests. It conforms to your clients that your store uses cookies and there is an option to redirect them directly to your cookie policy custom page where the customers may read it. 

In the Basic Settings, the Link URL is the placeholder where you can add the URL of the page where you have your Cookie Policy. 

You can customize the Notification by your taste and match your store’s design. 

What is a Score Feedback Pop-Up and how can I use it? 

The Score Feedback Notification is one more way to collect your clients' and visitors' feedback easily and funnily by letting them vote for the performance of your store. 

The notification is made only for 5 digits as best practices show it’s the best option, otherwise, the notification will be too big. 

You can customize the Notification by your taste and match your store’s design. 

What is a Request Collector and how can I use it? 

The Request collector gives the chance to have a direct connection with your clients through their emails or phone numbers - as you preferred. You have placeholders in your Basic Settings where you can compose the title, description, and the way of the connection you prefer. 

The notification can’t have multiple fields at the same time. You can only collect data via one field ( phone, email..etc, whatever you specify).

What is a Countdown Collector and how can I use it? 

The Countdown Collector is a great way to create an emergency feeling in your clients of missing out on a new product, promotion, discount, or an event you’re offering. 

Define the date&time based on your store’s ones and leave the magic to happen.

If you choose to enable the Agreement option by the toggle button, you'll have the option to insert the URL to your Privacy Policy.
